Luisa Collina is the new Dean of the School of Design at Politecnico di Milano. Degree in Architecture in 1993, Ph.D. in Technical Innovation & Architecture in 1998 at Politecnico di Milano. Full Professor of design at the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano, director of MSc Product Service System Design. Her main interests concern strategic design and design driven innovation both at a system level (that means the coordination of product-communication-service and interior design), with a particular focus on the field of interior design (especially in the field of retail and hospitality). She has co-operated to several researches financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific and Technological Research. She recently curated the exhibition at the Triennale di Milano “Semi di futuro”.
Since 2000 she has been in charge of the international relations and projects of the School of Design and of the Design Department at Politecnico di Milano. She is now delegate of the Rector for the collaboration with EXPO Milan 2015 and the 150th Anniversary of Politecnico di Milano. She is president of Cumulus Association.
