Cristina del Pozo is a landscape architect and an ecologist (MSc in Landscape Architecture, Polytechnic University of Madrid and BSc Biology, Complutense University of Madrid).

She is Director of the Master in Landscape Architecture at the University CEU San Pablo of Madrid. She has been Visiting Professor in 2010 at the School of Design at Harvard University. At the moment, she is working on her dissertation and PhD in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the School of Architecture of the Polythecnic University of Madrid.

She is founder and principal at Sunlight, a landscape architecture firm based in Madrid. During her professional background, she has completed projects and technical assistance in environmental matters, landscape architecture, landscape planning and development for different international organizations (World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, European Union).

Her last position before founding Sunlight was Director of the Department of Environment and Development Area in Eptisa Internacional.
